Advanced Engine Power
The 2009 Yukons have the muscle you need to tackle your biggest challenges. Engine choices range from a 310 hp on Yukon XL 1500 4x4 to a 320 hp Vortec 5.3L V8 with gas-saving Active Fuel Management®, all the way up to an awesome 380 hp Vortec 6.2L V8 with variable valve timing (VVT). The trailer towing ratings are equally impressive, topping out at a whopping 4355 kg (9600 lb.).
